Football

Football at Hedrick is for 7th and 8th grade only. 

Cost to participate is $75.  Fees must be paid before first game. 

Football practice is every day from 3:45-5:15/5:30 p.m.   (Practice times and locations may be adjusted due to heat or smoke.)

There is no practice on days when there is no school.

Athletes will go to the locker room to dress and then meet on the football field. Please wear shorts, a t-shirt, and cleats on the first day.  Team announcements will follow and be released as soon as possible.  All athletes must register online and be cleared by the Hedrick athletic department before participating in any way.   

There is no practice on game days.

Message from our Athletic Director:

It is always our goal to keep student-athletes participating in their sport. We do, however, want to remind athletes and parents of a few policies pertaining to athletic participation. Please keep the following in mind. 

  • Athletes must be enrolled in 5 or more classes.
  • Athletes must attend school all day on game days(unless cleared by the athletic director in advance).
  • Athletes must also attend practice the day before any game.  
  • Athletes must maintain passing grades for all classes to participate (No grades of D or F).
