Girls Basketball

Tryouts for basketball will be announced fall 2025.  Tryouts are closed to the public.  Athletes will got to locker room to dress and then meet in the gym.  Please wear shorts, a t-shirt, and gym shoes on the first day. Team announcements will follow and be released as soon as possible.  Practice is every day from 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm, except game day.  All athletes must register online and be cleared by the Hedrick athletic department before participating in any way.

Hedrick provides uniforms, except for shoes.  Parents are responsible for shoes.  

 

Message from our Athletic Director:

It is always our goal to keep student athletes participating in their sport. We do however want to remind athletes and parents of a few policies pertaining to athletic participation. Please keep the following in mind. 

• Athletes must be enrolled in 5 or more classes.
• Athletes must attend school all day on game days (unless cleared by the athletic director in advance).
• Athletes must also attend practice the day before any game.  
• Athletes must maintain passing grades for all classes to participate (No grades of D or F).
