Assistant Principal/Student Services, Jeremy Durst 

 

Hello Hedrick Families,

My name is Jeremy Durst and I am the Student Services Assistant Principal and 8th grade student support here at Hedrick Middle School. I grew up in the Rogue Valley and am a proud graduate of the Medford School District. It is an honor for me to return to my “roots'' and serve the students here at Hedrick. Over the past 12 years in education, I have served in various capacities, including music teacher, student government / leadership advisor and an AVID teacher. At the high school level, I have worked closely with the freshman team to assist incoming 9th graders in successfully navigating the transition from middle school to high school. These experiences have allowed me to understand the crucial importance of the middle school years and the role they play in leading up to high school. It is during these pivotal and formative years that students build crucial study habits and begin to better understand their interests and passions. I am passionate about supporting your child’s success as they work towards high school and beyond.
