Dean of Students, Landon Roberts 

 

Hello Hedrick Hornet Families,

My name is Landon Roberts and I am honored to serve as Dean of Students this year at Hedrick Middle School.  I have been in education for the last 14 years teaching mostly middle school social studies and AVID, coaching sports and mentoring students.  My journey in education has taken me from Alaska, to Mexico and back to my home state here in Oregon.  I love what southern Oregon has to offer and am excited to be in the Rogue Valley.  

This year I will be overseeing the 7th grade teams. My role is to help teachers and students create the most successful learning environment possible. Although that role encompasses many different aspects, the most vital component is the relationships I get to create and grow with everyone I meet. I pride myself on creating a positive climate where learning and growth are at the forefront of every interaction. I want students to know that they are valued, parents to know they are heard and teachers to know they are supported.  

I look forward to working with all of you this year and supporting the growth of your students here at Hedrick.
