Parent Notification:
Our Hedrick Office experiences a high volume of calls during school hours. We also experience a high volume of parents/families/community members who come to the school during school hours. We make every effort to answer each call, however, there are times when all lines are busy and all office staff are assisting others. Please be patient with our office staff as we are working very hard to answer calls, respond to e-mails, and assist parents/families/community members who come into the office throughout the day. Please plan ahead to pick up your child and make arrangements as soon as possible so we have adequate time to make contact with your student and have them ready for you when you come. We cannot ensure we will be able to have your student available on time if there is short notice that you will need to pick them up.
Please use the Attendance email above to help field attendance calls. We ask that you please submit the following form to excuse your student or notify of an absence as this will free up our phone lines for parents who need to call and reach their students immediately. Our Attendance Secretary works very hard to check the email frequently and update attendance. There may be times where you still get an absence call even though you have sent an email excusing your students attendance, but we do our best to update as much as we can before those automated calls go out. You may also use this e-mail to notify of a student pick up that is pre-planned later that day, as this also gives us time to write a pass and have it sent to the student at the appropriate time for pick up.

For non-attendance related questions or concerns that do not require immediate attention, please email hedrick@medford.k12.or.us. We check these emails daily and can field questions and provide information to you.
